Due to changes in the VAT rules in Denmark, the prices of these holidays are too expensive. After 18 years of building the business our colleagues in Denmark have no alternative than to cease trading. We are looking for alternatives but this may take some weeks. In the meanwhile, if you are looking for a holiday in denmark please call us on 0845 612 6106 (+44 1483 271212 from outside the UK)

A shorter version of the 7 night tour, but including all the highlights. This tour is suitable for everyone who would like to combine bicycling with another type of holiday, for instance a city trip to Copenhagen or one of the other Scandinavian capitals.

CopenhagenIn Copenhagen you will have time to discover the mediaeval heart of this wonderful city, as well as some of the many excellent restaurants. Riding out of Copenhagen towards Helsingør you can visit Hamlet's castle Kronborg, enjoy Dyrehaven, the royal hunting ground, and at Rungsted you can visit the home of the famous Danish author Karen Blixen (Out of Africa). You will have time to explore the unique interior of the Frederiksborg Castle, located in the middle of a lake, surrounded by baroque gardens. In the large cathedral of Roskilde, the former Danish capital, the kings and queens of Denmark lie buried. The Vikings lived at Roskilde and their ships can still be seen here. The path takes you through the picturesque villages that line the beaches south of the capital, away from the traffic and all the way back into the centre of Copenhagen.
