Our Freedom holidays offer the flexibility to appeal to the independent traveller planning to holiday with family or friends. This means that you have the independence to start the trip when you want and the flexibility to add one or more rest days to any itinerary. In some locations the start dates are limited to a certain day of the week (see individual tour details). You are not in a group, so you take your own time, go at your own pace and stop whenever you feel like it, whether for a refreshing drink, cream tea or a browse in a souvenir shop. Wherever you see this icon the tour is categorised a Freedom holiday

As well as the independence, we think there are 3 main ingredients that go to make a fantastic cycling holiday. The first and most important is location. We have chosen a range of superb locations in the UK and in many parts of Europe which means we are confident there is something to appeal to everyone - whether it is the grandeur of some of the lesser known parts of rural Spain, or the breathtaking scenery of Tuscany and Umbria, or life at a slower pace in rural France, or revelling in the beauty of the honey-coloured villages of the Cotswolds closer to home – these are just a few examples of what we can offer you.

The second is accommodation. A good cycling holiday requires comfortable accommodation in which to relax at the end of each day. We are able to offer a range of great accommodation to suit your purse – from Castles, Chateaux and Manor Houses to small family run hotels and good quality bed & breakfasts. We make every effort to ensure your holiday is a memorable one.

The third is to make sure the routes are suitable for you. We offer a variety of cycling holidays, ranging from gentle and relaxing short breaks for those who rarely cycle, to more challenging rides for those wanting to stretch themselves a little. We use carefully researched routes using well-signposted minor roads and some tracks. They avoid all main roads where possible. All our routes are graded to help you in your choice.

On our Freedom holidays we provide all the essential services you need:

  • carefully selected accommodation
  • moving your luggage to your next stop-over
  • good quality bike hire for you and your family
  • all route details, maps and local information
  • local support should you encounter any problems.
We aim to cater for your individual needs and can tailor holidays to your requirements. If you have any questions about the suitability of a holiday for you, give us a call 0845 612 6106 (calls charged at local rate. Or if you are calling from overseas +44 1483 271212) or send an email to info@2wheeltreks.co.uk.
